?d???d asked: This thing requires no Wifi hotspots, has wireless access for virtually anywhere. You also get all of the U.S. Newspapers. There are no monthly wireless bills, service plans, or commitments.
And… best of all… wireless access to Wiki! =]
It’s worth $400 to me. I could really use a device like this. Especially for when I’m at school, it’d be really useful. And it’s really durable too.

I don’t have a cell phone…
or a table pc either.
I’m totally disconnected when it comes to going anywhere. The fact that wifi exists in public areas really doesn’t help me, as I don’t own anything portable to connect.
I still love the no-wifi idea though. It mentioned “basic web browsing”– but I’m not sure what they mean by that. It probably can load basic text from web pages.
But, again, getting on myspace from school without even having to log on a computer would totally be awesome.
Oh, no I can’t get on myspace. Well I could, but I like my school computer privelages ;P
But I don’t do it. It’s not worth the consequences.

doxfan4life asked: Has anyone had any experience with the Sony Reader or know much about the new Amazon Kindle? What are the pros and cons? Did you enjoy them as much as simply reading a normal paperback? Is it easy enough to delete old data to make room for new? Any info is appreciated.

Cid Young asked: saw an interview on Charlie Rose with Jeff Bezos. It peaked my interest in the Amazon Kindle. Has anyone used it yet and have any feedback?
Since I love gardening, I was wondering if the device shows good photos or illustrations? Is it text only?
RIGHT NOW I’M CURIOUS. I may want one for Christmas.

more_cow_belll asked: the kindle is $100 more, but then again it looks like it has more features, including the EVDO network to buy books anywhere. Does anyone have either of these? I’ve heard they are both good, but which is better? My girlfriend loves reading. And she reads A LOT. In the past week, she’s probably gone through 4 books. So I want to get her the best thing out there. Thanks in advance for anyone who puts in there 2 cents
