    As the information is delivered to the Kindle via EVDO (High Speed Cellular Network), you may have problems getting your subscriptions. You would have to check the country that you are going to against the coverage map of whoever Amazon uses as their provider. From what I have been able to find out their WhisperNET service uses Sprint EVDO. The coverage map that I was able to find showed nothing outside of the Continental US.

    The Kindle uses Sprint’s EVDO network to deliver content. Sprint has roaming agreements with other carriers internationally, but coverage is not as extensive as T-Mobile or AT&T. Look here to see if you’ll be covered, and you’ll know:
